Abstract New Austrian Tunneling Method was adopted for Xiaobanxi Tunnel,with half tunneling, hydraulic working jumbo with variable sections and pumping concrete for tunnel lining and multiple channels for process control. Therefore， not only the constuction quality was ensured, but also the construction process was speeded.
