Abstract The information level is relative low in the field of civil engineering. This paper analyses the current situation of information level in the field of civil engineering in China, describes and explores those of remote monitoring subsystem and three dimension emulation technology for information management of construction as well as the model and mian thinking on expert decision subsystem based on an example of tunnel construction, for reference to the construction and development of information in the field of civil engineering.
