Abstract Based on analysis of the reasons for surrounding rock collapsing while TBM working in fracture zone of rock mass in Taohuapuhao Tunnel I and research on prevention and treatment measures for surrounding rock collapsing, this paper proposes the corresponding measures for different collapsing parts, for reference to TBM working in collapsed section of surrounding rock.
