Abstract Construction cost should be kept under control during entire process of construction and has closed relation with every phase of construction. This paper analyses the control method for construction cost in every phase of construction, such as investment decision, design, tending and bidding for project, construction and acceptance from point of entire process' view of construction puts forward the issues that should paid attention to during construction, shows the importance of scientific management of construction cost to lower construction cost by giving a practical example.
