Abstract It is unusually difficult for the karst tunnel to construct, because its project geology and hydrogeology are complicated and special. Based on the construction of Yuanliang Mountain tunnel on Yuhuai railway, the author researches on the solutions of tunnel karst, karst water and the construction technology of the karst tunnel with high pressure and abundant water.
