During the construction of the cast-in-place concrete continuous beam on the soft foundation, the key questions are how to control the settlement of subsoil and make the pre~ determined camber within the extent of design,and prevent the beam from the distress etc caused by scaffold’s deformation which is caused by the subsoil’s settlement. Based on this， the paper discusses the way how to control the foundation’s settlement and make the con?struction of cast-in-place concrete continuous beam doing well.
