Abstract:Research purposes: Through the analysis of the difference in the distribution of the inter-city railway in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the inter-city railway in the new era metropolitan area presents the development trend of introducing the urban center. For intercity railways passing through the urban center, due to various external factors such as city planning, transportation, water conservancy, environmental protection, and structures, in order to achieve coordinated development between the city and intercity railways and ensure smooth construction of the project, a systematic review and research have been conducted on the design ideas for the route selection of intercity railways passing through the urban center.Research conclusions: (1) Suggestions were put forward for overall route selection, including planning compliance and environmental protection. (2) From the perspective of station distribution and location selection, the spacing and location selection of stations were analyzed, and thought for station setting was proposed. (3) The design ideas for the introduced route scheme from the perspective of introducing stations and airports were provided. (4) From the perspective of interval route selection, combined with control factors such as terrain, geological conditions, and external structures along the railway, suggestions were put forward for horizontal and vertical design. (5) The research results fully combine the construction experience of Shenzhen metropolitan area intercity railway, and have important guidance and reference significance for the horizontal and vertical design of intercity railway, and the stability of route and station scheme in the new era.
