Abstract:Research purposes: In accordance with the rail rapid transit network plan of Tianjin and the characteristics of fast development of urban infrastructure construction and shortage of land for usage, the research is made on optimizing the scale of rolling stock depot and layout of connecting line rationally through network resource sharing on premise of meeting the requirements of normal operation for each line, in order to control usage of land for rail transit and reduce investment in Metro project.
Research methods: With consideration of the construction sequence of nine metro lines in network, conditions of layout of depot for shop and un-wheeling repair , function and pattern of each line, and consistency, modularization and hereditability of type selection of rolling stock of Metro, the integrally technical comparison is made by adopting methods of program comparison,analysis and calculation of amount of work of shop and un-wheeling repair.
Research results: A set of construction modes for resource sharing by the integral rolling stock base and a series of instructional technical measures are offered through making research according to the situation of fast development of rail transit in China.
Research Conclusions: Two depots for shop and un-wheeling repair rolling stock should be laid out for Tianjin rail rapid transit network,with 6 repair positions totally, including one depot with 4 positions and the other with 2 positions,so it can meet requirements of car running on the planned line in network for shop and un-wheeling repair network and requirements of 4 connecting lines forming a complete network.
