Abstract：Research purposes: The characteristics of large railway station large has much influence on lighting and lighting design, especially it is very difficult to design the lighting for large space, so it is necessary to do research on it for the purpose of seeking the solution for lighting large railway station building.
Research conclusions: For the large railway station building, many lighting methods should be adopted such as direct lighting, indirect lighting, reflector and oriented ray tube system At the same time, the concrete characteristics of large space, lighting efficiency and energy saving of lighting should be considered.
