Abstract:Research purposes: With the increment of railway traffic volume, sometimes it occur that the actual operation voltage of the feeding system is lower than the minimum allowed voltage of electric locomotive. Therefore,to improve the traction voltage of traction substation is an important work in design of electrified railway. At present, the ways of improving the voltage level of feeding section include:to improve the bus voltage of the traction side of substation,to use series capacitance compensation device,to US parallel compensation device and to use carrying eatenary or or strengthening wire.
Research conclusions:In this paper, the ways of improving voltage of feeding system and their working principles are analyzed.According to the characteristics of large traffic volume of Baoji—Chengdu Railway and poor power supply of feeding system Mong the railway, based on the study on the scheme of traction power supply of Majiaoba Traction Substation and the calculation of power supply in theory,it is decided to install the series compensation device and dynamic reactice——load compensation device Oil feeding wire side to improve the voltage level of the feeding section of Majiasoba Traction substation for making the voltage up to 20 kV on the end of traction power supply network.
