Abstract：Research purposes：Through the comparison and analysis of the technical standards for railway track between China and Germany, the importance of the selected technical indexes for railway track is recognized. In particular, through the selection and analysis of the design parameters for the track, the difference in the track design parameters between China and Germany is well known and it can provide the reference to the revision of the technical standards for railway track in China.
Research conclusions：China's railway track design standards are relatively higher than the German's standards and the selection range of the railway track design parameters is wider. These show China railway is good in the travel comfortableness and has the room of the further development. It is in line with the direction of development. However, some design parameters need to be optimized by doing experiment.
