Abstract:Abstract:Research purposes: This paper presents the idea, method and basic of analysis and research for all kinds of controversies and disputes caused by the uncertainty of contract scope in the process of the railway construction project general contract management. It will ensure that all parties participating in the construction project achieve the expected objectives fairly.
Research conclusions:(1) The foundation of confirming the scope of construction contract is concept scope and the core is work scope. (2) Concept scope is based on laws, regulations, normative documents, contracts and professional books. (3) Work scope is mainly confirmed by list valuation guidelines and design documents. (4) The research achievements can provide guidances to general contractor in confirming construction contract scope, and it can provide references to other contract participants.
