Abstract：Research purposes: China is in a peak period of constructing urban rail transit，but the construction brings the influence on the city traffic．In this paper，the discussion is made on introduction of laying fabricated strap method to construct the metro station for the purpose of reducing the influence of construction on the city tramc and environment．
Research conclusions: The conflict between construction metro and the city traffic and environment can be overcome by using laying fabricated strap method．The risks caused by rebuilding or moving the underground pipelines can be avoided and the construction investment and time can be reduced by hanging the underground pipelines with protection measures．The design of metro station can be standardized by using laying fabricated strap method and standard temporary support components．This is the development trend of tunnel construction．
