Abstract：Research purposes: The cable structures are widely used in bridge day by day and their main applicable areas include cable suspension bridge，cable—stayed bridge，arched bridge，tie—arch bridge and SO on．The cable structures are correspondingly divided into many kinds of type，such as cable，guy cable，hanging cable and etc．According to the environmental condition in the place where the bridge with cable structure locates，very hish anticorrosion performance of the bridge with cable structure is required．
Research conclusions: As the materials for cable structure have good performances，the cable structure is widely used in bridge．For ensuring the service safety of the bridge for long term，the antiseptic measures should be taken to the cable structure．At present，the basic antiseptic measures for cable structure materials are mostly galvanizing by hot—dipping and epoxy spray coating．
