Abstract：It is easy to form subgrade disease on swelled ground because swelled ground has features of swelling and softening by absorbing water, shrinking and cracking by losing water and repeated changing. After raining，embankment settles and deforms greatly, side slope occurs shoulder slipping, subgrade cracks and road cutting occurs the phenomena of corrosion by rushing, exfoliation corrosion, sliding and flowing slope on cutting slope. This paper focally describes the construction method for control of disease of expansive soil subgrade from deciding engineering parameters in combination with the construction practice of Xi'an-Nanjing Railway Line.
