Abstract：The cost of materials was usually equated to the 60%~65% of the engineering cost. Therefore, to strengthen the management of material supply is an important means to reduce the engineering cost for the construction enterprises. The paper expounds in detail concerned with the following aspects, such as strengthening the management of the purchase of materials, strengthening the management of the expenditure of materials, as well as developing material cost accounting to raise the management level, etc.
