CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY OF “UNDERGROUND EXCAVATION UNDER SHALLOW COVER” FOR AN UNDERGROUND PASSAGE TUNNEL WITH HIGH WATER-BEARING SANDY LAYER ACROSS AN URBAN STREET
Abstract:This paper introduces the construction method of “underground excavation under shallow cover” for an underground urban street passage tunnel in sands containing a large volume of water. For the construction of the whole tunnel, the “CRD” method is used principally, of which some supplementary construction methods are employed. For example, the technology of low-pressured injection with dense pipes is employed for silly ground, and “TSS” grouting consolidation technology is employed for saturated water-beaning sands.
