Abstract：Although there was no big collapse failure occurred during the construction of subgrade engineering works in hilly sections, the change of the working amount due to design was usually concerned with the degree of carefulness of the surveying works, Therefore, it is important to take careful investigation during surveying and design in accordance with the actual situations, so as to avoid so much difficult works during the construction.
