Abstract:Slope design on vertical section is an important aspect of railway/highway project design, scientific and rational design directly determines the level of cost and cross structure, how to maximize control project cost with sophisticated slope design from qualitative to quantitative, and improve productivity with automated design, have been the target of designing companies continue to pursue. Through mining engineers progressive cognitive processes from the ground line "shape" and "potential" , we continue to simplify and generalize the ground line and finally deduce an automatic vertical design method, which based on local earthwork balance evaluation model for better cost control.Research conclusions:(1)The deduce order of this paper is ground line, contour line, initial design line, slope line, the grade change point position is determined by terrain contour and the elevation of slope is determined by average terrain elevation. (2) In the process of generation and deduction of the grade line, this method can fully combine with the earthwork balance control model to achieve a much leaner advantages in earthwork quantity and construction cost than engineer. (3) By contrast in the practice and application of multiple projects, this method can greatly improve design efficiency and improve the quality of engineering design.
