Abstract：During the 1990s, as the rapid dev elopment of IT technique especially o f Internet technique, the modern manag ement co nsul ting business had been established and w as g row ing in rapid strides interna tionally. Through the dev elopment in recent 10 years, the mo dern manag ement consulting business had ev olved primarily i t s business structural system, and was becoming mo re and mo re as a mo st impor tant pillar business in the natio nal economy o f the economic develo ped count ries. Meanw hi le, i t had bro ugh t v ery profo und influences o n many enterprises, including the manag ement of const ruction project s. In this paper, preliminary ex plo ratio ns a re put fo rw ard o n the rise and dev elo pment o f the modern manag ement co nsul ting business, as w ell a s i ts inf luences o n the ma nagement of Construction projects.
