Abstract：The paper makes compari so n amd amalysis on the t radi tio nal quantitative metho ds fo r delay 's g eneral ma nagement ex penses in the interna tional engineering claims. Th e sev era l main methods are studied in detai l, and thei r limi ta tio ns are pointed o ut. An improv ed Hudson method i s propo sed. The presupposi tions the applicable co ndi tio ns for dif ferent metho ds a re al so analy zed.
