Abstract：The coordinate method,which is a new method with computer process for measur?ing and setting the curves,is introduced. The entire measuring and setting works may be ac?complished by laying the mirror inside or outside of curve at arbitrary point, so that the ac?cumulated error by traditional measuring method and the limitation of mirror laying point may be a voided, and thus the curve measurement may become rapid and accurate. It is espe?cially suitable for measuring subgrade,track and bridge on the curve.
