Abstract：In view of the characteristics that the Railway Restaurant is located in the city commercial centre, permitting no boiler room, and that Taiyuan is abund ant in lowpriced coal gas resources, we’ve simulated four feasible schemes to solve the problem of the cool and heat sources of the central air-conditioner. From the comprehensive comparison among energy consumption, initial investment, maintenance, safety and other aspects in the four schemes, we choose to adopt the scheme of the direct-burning bromite-cooled engine (by burning the city coal gas〉，which is not only simple in system design，rational and feasible in economy, but also practical and spread worthwhile.
