Abstract：The paper int roduces the general si tuatio n of the Bei jing Terminal , a nd a naly zes the selection of the tw o connectio n schemes tow ards the Bei jing Rai lw ay Statio n and the Beijing West Railw ay Sta tio n fo r leading the Jing-Hu High-speed Railway into the Beijing Terminal. Meanwhile, the following aspect s are propo sed, such as the po ssibi li ty o f co nst ructing a new hig h-speed passeng er railw ay station in the terminal, and the analyses o n routing schemes of the hig h-speed railw ay lines into the terminal. The posi tion of high-speed locomo tiv e and car depo t a nd the optimum dista nce betw een the depot and the depar ture station o f the high-speed trains a re also pro po sed.
