Abstract：Acco rding to the analyses o n the action of the t raction dist rict in the double t rack electrified rai lw ays and it s applica tion ef fects, and combined wi th the recent popula ri za tion of sev eral new tech niques and new equipments such as the remote cont rol system, the load disconnecting swi tches, etc, the a uthor proposes an improv ed “ remo te cont rol equipment+ load di sconnecting swi tch” scheme fo r the tractio n dist rict. The feasibili ty , reliabili ty and the superio ri ties of this improv ed scheme are discussed in this paper. A new thinking for desig ning the t raction pow er supply has been prov ided.
