Abstract：Based on the realization of participating in the research works, the author proposes that the traffic volume should be determined according to the national economic and social devel?opment strategy and combined with the role of the railway networks, and the schemes of the route and its implement procedure should be determined according to the multi—respect contrasts and selections. These suggestions are rather valuable for reference. Owing to the important role of the Xi^an —Nanjing Railway on the railway networks, the author suggests that the Xi’an — Nanjing Railway should be accomplished as soon as possible.
