RESEARCH OF TYPICAL SOLUTION CAVE IN TUNNEL RE?GION ON NANNING-KUNMING RAILWAY

Abstract:Along the Nanning-Kunming Railway Line passing mainly through the Yunnan- Guizhou Plateau,there are widely dispersed soluable rocks in growing stage with a length of 375km. During design,the Second Survey and Design Institute gives special attention to the speciality of the growing soluable rocks and the complexity of its distributions in this plateau mountain area. A special research subject has been established for exploring the regularity of the growth of the solution caves and its distributions, so that the qualitative forecast of the tunnels with soluable rocks may be suggested. The investigation and research works proceed in five regions having ten tunnels with solution caves and it has two working stages. Based on the obtained data of the first three regions,the preliminary research work on the regulari?ty of the growth of the solution caves has been proceeded.
