Abstract This paper describes the differences in expression form between Kaster formula and Fenner formula popularly used for plastic rock (soft rock), deviates their same points by taking stress circle as media and change tactics, expresses their same points in application by giving practical example in order to assist application of formulas in difficult construction project.
