Study on the Influence of Span Arrangements of Deck Arch Bridge on Continuous Welded Rail |

Abstract Research purposes: Based on the finite element theory and beam-rail interaction mechanism, taking a concrete deck arch bridge on railway as an example, this paper established a beam-rail interaction calculation model of deck arch bridge, and comprehensively analyzed the stress law of the continuous welded rail on bridge under different spans of the arch range. Considering the 10 m chord calculation results of track high-low line type, this paper put forward the design philosophy of railway continuous welded rail on the deck arch bridge. Research conclusions: (1) The best span arrangement of deck arch bridge is continuous beam. When the span of deck arch bridge is small, the setting of beam joint in the arch ring range is available to cancel the rail expansion joint. (2)Affected by temperature deformation of arch ring, the high and low chords calculation values of the beam joint in arch ring range change violently, where track geometry maintain is difficulty. (3) The rail expansion joint should avoid setting in the arch ring range, which is not allowed on the vault. (4) The research results can be applied to the design of railway continuous welded rail on the deck arch bridge, especially the setting of rail expansion joint.
