Abstract：Being aimed at the engineering circumstances of the Jianyin Building in the City of Zhuzhou，the paper proposes the formula for calculating the settlement of the building and analyzes the calculations. The obtained results are useful for taking measures to prevent the building from settling during design and construction period.
