Abstract：Based o n the pro perty of the ci rcle-round line and the speciali ties of the di fferent line-ty pe o f the highw ay, the paper deriv es out the def lected ang le and distance w hich a re the required pa rameters fo r the lay out of the side-pi le on the roadbed fo r the t rasition cruv e of the highw ay by using the def lection ang le method. The calcula tion procedure i s reali zed by using the C-la ng uage prog ramming, so that the lay out o f the engineering curv e may be mo re conv enient. Keywords
