Abstract：A grade separation bridge on Fengtai Road, which was constructed in Beijing and had been put into operation in September 1995，is the first bridge in China composed of stiffening prestressed concrete continuous beams with tie bar arch of net web members. The paper introduces the general situation of this bridge, and describes its engineering procedures and construction essentials in detail which are valuable for reference.
