Abstract：Nowadays，in order to seize the opportunity，doing well the railw ay construction and promoting the national economic development，a special management organization had been established in the Ministry of Railways- This organization is responsible for the large and middle engineering projects of the newly-built railw ays- In viewpoint of the management of construction projects，an overall procedure of supervisory control for design，construction and supervision had been established，so as to struggle for the creation of high quality engineering works. The paper analyzes the existing problems concerned with the construction management in present times，and the corresponding suggestions for improvement are proposed.
