Abstract:Research purposes: This paper adopts the composite structure to solve subgrade design problems in shallow dredging and low fill section.
Research methods: Contrasting with existing technical specifications and traditional design method, a new composite structure for subgrade design in shallow dredging and low fill section is put forward.
Research conclusions: Composite structure design method can be used more easily meet strict requirements of technical specifications in bedding design. Composite structure has satisfying application in materials design, intensity control, and drainage design , will help realize the target in intensity transition and deformation transition of the transition section. This design method is consistent with the current design concept-the subgrade as a geotechnical structures, so it deserves further promotion.
