Abstract:Research purposes: Tianjin underground Zhijing line is the connecting line between Tianjin West station and Tianjin station and an important part of Tianjin railway terminal as well as a shortcut of passenger dedicated line from Tianjin to Qinhuangdao and high-speed railway from Beijing to Shanghai. The line is located in flourishing Haihe economic zone in Tianjin with many controlled spots, so the construction investment and traffic safety are affected very much by the maximum grade. Therefore, it is very necessary to do study on determining the maximum grade for the purposes of controlling the construction investment efficiently, reducing engineering difficulties and ensuring the safety of railway operation.
Research conclusions: The scheme of 23‰ grade is feasible in technology and reasonable in economy, so it is suitable for Tianjin underground Zhijing line to adopt 23‰ maximum grade.
