Abstract:Research purposes: Based on the analysis of the assembling and distributing characteristics of passengers in different type and the different function of railway stations, the computing method of passenger flow volume in station at peak hour is presented with the reference views on it.
Research conclusions: For the computing the passenger flow volume in start station, terminal station and large station in the section, it is suitable to use the factor method and not suitable to use the graphic method because the volume will be as the basis of working out the train running scheme , but the graphic method can be used for computing the adaptability of train running scheme. For the computing the passenger flow volume in small stations along railway, it is suitable to used graphic method because the train running scheme makes effect on passengers' travel.
