Abstract:Research purposes:The urban railway used for the transportation from the downtown to the district or county in outskirt is a complementary part of the urban public transportation system. Some big or middle cities have begun planing and building the urban railways according to their geographical conditions,development spaces and economic development demands. But now there is no unified way and quota for compiling the general estimate of the urban railway.This paper presents the solution on this problem for providing the basis for reasonably fixing the construction cost of the urban railway.
Research conclusions:It is proposed the " The General Estimate Compiling Method for the National Railway" and " The Railway Quota" should be used for compiling the general estimate of the urban railway except the station along with the" The General Estimate Compiling Method for the Intercity Railway" and " The General Estimate Compiling Method for Municipal Facilities" while " The General Estimate Compiling Method for Municipal Facilities" and " The Municipal Quota" should be used for compiling the general estimate of the station.
