Abstract:Research purposes:The shearing stagger and 3 loop cracks were found in the interface between the soil and stone on the parapet wall of the left cutting at K 564 + 050 + 150 of the Baotou-Xi'an Railway and on the surface of the natural hillside outside of the cutting top. These diseases brought about the safety hazard to the normal operation of the railway.The investigation was made on the reasons and mechanism for the slope disease to provide the basis for taking control measures and provide the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions: The changes of the runoff conditions of surface water and underground water were the external factors for the occurrence of the diseases. The influence of climatic environment was the induction factor. The changes of the physical mechanics indexes of the soil on the interface between the soil and stone and the formation of soft plastic belt were crucial to the formation and occurrence of diseases. The occurrence and development of diseases were basically consistent with the local freeze thawing cycle regulation. On the basis of disease analysis,the study was done on the control measures,and the control scheme of the emergency measures along with the permanent treatment were worked out and carried out,obtaining the perfect result.
