Abstract:Abstract:Research purposes: When Daliang tunnel of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang second railway constructs to the contact zone of the limestone and the slate in the syncline wing, sudden water & mud bursting disasters occurred many times, and the largest water inflow was 10 000 m3/h, the total of the mud-sand and stone was 20 000 m3,the deposition in the tunnel length was 236 m. Through the analysis of the reasons for water and mud bursting disasters, the effective management program was taken, the good processing effect was obtained.
Research conclusions:(1) In the contact zone of the soft and hard rock in deep railway tunnel syncline wings, because of good water conductivity, soft rock crushes, is prone to water and mud bursting.Therefore, should strengthen the advanced geological prediction during construction, to prevent disasters. (2)After the tunnel water and mud bursting occurred, it is necessary to evaluate the risk of dredging. Dredging the reasonable position should be promptly applied for the wall, to prevent the occurrence of secondary disasters. (3) For the tunnel water and mud bursting, take "positive closure, side circuitous, high interception" measures, can form processing working face, and open up new forms of working face, both ends flanking the processing situation, at the same time, high water interception can reduce the difficulty of the breach processing. The engineering practice has proved that, "both ends flanking, grouting, pipe shed support" measure is the effective method for treatment of water and mud bursting. (4)The research findings can be applied in the similar tunnel for treatment of water and mud bursting.
