Abstract:Research purposes: With the rapid development of urban rail transit in China, more and more shallow mining method tunnels in urban metros are designed and constructed according to the shotcrete and rockbolt construction principle. This paper analyzes the characters, applicable conditions of various auxiliary construction measures for mining method tunnel.
Research methods: Though investigating and studying several mining method tunnels , the analysis , comparison and conclusion for various auxiliary construction measures have been made under different engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions.
Research Conclusions: In the design and construction for mining method tunnels in urban metro, combining with the basic engineering method of tunnel construction, this paper compares, chooses and adopts some reasonable auxiliary construction measures according to the circumference environment of the project, the embedded depth of tunnel, engineering and hydrogeological conditions, and the tunnel section size. Strata and surrounding rock shall be necessarily strengthened and water sealed which can avoid the major construction risks and save engineering investment but also reduce the influence and damage of the circumjacent environments and meet the requirement of the construction period.
