Xi an-Nanjing railway goes through the fossil diluvial fan of Houzhi town as well as the north foot of Qinling Mountain. The geological situation is very complex in this district. The more engineering geological question is deeply cognized，the more railway-lines scheme is perfect- This pa per sums up the geological question here and analyses the selecting scheme of railway-line as well as the knowledgeable degree about the geological questions，and suitable result of selecting scheme has been obtained.
