Abstract:Research purposes:The connecting line in urban rail transit is assistant line that connects two independent railways.During the network planning of urban mass transit,the reasonable layout of connecting lines is the key prerequisite for better connectivity of each railway in urban mass transit. Optimization method for construction cost,which is originated from general planning of the whole network,based on graph theory and actual field survey data,is adopted to establish the layout of connecting lines. The method is applicable to the urban mass transit network planning with more lines and more complicated connection relation between lines with the aid of a computer. The paper aims to optimize the method by studying and thinking it.
Research conclusions:The paper puts forward the concept of“the sphere of influence building connecting lines”,“the weighted average of cost classes”and“virtual building cost classes”to complete the method,introduces how to establish the layout of connecting lines in Beijing urban mass transit network in 2010,and elaborates the advantages and disadvantages of the method.
