Abstract：Research purposes : Through making analyses and summary of maintenance and operation systems of railways at home and abroad, the discussion is made on the practical significance of maintenance and operation systems of Shenshuo-Huanghua Railway for the purpose of making the proposals for improving the railway maintenance and operation levels in China.
Research methods: The researches are done on the maintenance and operation systems of Shenshuo-Huanghua Railway and railways at home and abroad by adopting analysis and summary methods.
Research Conclusions: The maintenance and operation systems applied in Shenshuo-Huanghua Railway satisfy the investment requirements and its management mode has reference significance to the railway reform in China and is worth being used widely
