Abstract:Research purposes: To obtain the inversion of the transient electromagnetic sounding (TEMS) data sampled in an equivalent interval mode, the data should be compressed in an undamaged manner, so it is necessary to do research on it.
Research conclusions: The data show that although the signal-to-noise ratio of TEMS response is very low in late time, but the correct decay curve can be produced by adopting time-dependent filter method. Therefore, time-de-pendent filter technique can be used to compress dense TEMS data without losing of decay information.
