Abstract:Research purposes; With the increase of the train speed on the turnout of passenger dedicated line, the catenary design requires more precise positioning on turnout. If the non 一 crossover turnout design is adopted on passenger dedicated line, it not only guarantees that there is no influence from catenary suspension on side track, but also guarantees train can run from main track to siding or from side track to main track stably and smoothly, so the precise calculations should be done for the turnout post and catenary suspension.
Research conclusions : Application of MATLAB along with AutoCAD in design of non-crossover turnout can define the physical positions of catenary, suspension device and pantograph and make the design figurative, simple and reasonable. With this method, the pantograph can pass through the turnout area safely and smoothly with perfect collecting current at the train speed of 300 km/h.
