Abstract：There are a lot of local railway special lines connected with the electrified railways in the region of the Beijing Railway Administration. In order to guarantee the traction power supply and the safety operation,the paper introduces several schemes of the installation of the connecting equipments. Based on practical examples,several schemes of connecting equipments,especially several kinds of the open-close substations, are expounded. The advantages and disadvantages and their investments are introduced. They are valuable for reference and for further discussion.
