Abstract:Combined with the construction of the most complex grand bridge in the Heng-Nan Rail-way, the construction technique of the bored hole pile under hard exposed rock at the bottom of river in deep water is introduced. Through the stress analysis and the simplified calculation (or cofferdam’s structure in deep water, a highly applicable single wall assembly steel cofferdam was designed, and the objects of safety, high efficiency ,economy, easy to be operated, etc,during construction had been obtained.
