Abstract:Problems occurred in the structural calculation of existing railway bridge with simply supported beams,the track maintenance and the track laying of jointless rail on the bridge,etc,are discussed in this paper-The structure and design essentials of the composite rubber bearing has been introduced. Furthermore,the design feature of simply supported beam bridge with composite rubber bearings and its superiorities are illustrated with a practical example. It has been suggested that the Ministry of Railways should adopt effective measures to promote the technical achievements converting successfully into productive forces.
