Abstract：The paper introduces briefly the kinds of the large-scale track maintenance machines， auxiliary vehicles and their traction cars， as well as the principle and standard for their allocations. Several researches are put forward for calculating the length of parking lines for the laige-scale track maintenance machine railcar unit， which would be set in the basic maintenance site or along the railway lines.
