Abstract:A stochastic back analysis method of load — structure model is proposed to esti?mate load on tunnel lining according to the measured displacements. The spline interpolation function was calculated by the field measured displacements of key lining points and was used to replace approximately the real displacement function of tunneL The interpolation displace?ments of lining points can provide the necessary number of measured data in this back analy?sis. A case study on a tunnelling is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of this method.
